Sherese Parker
Chicago State University
Associate AD for Academic Services/SWA

Chicago State is very lucky to have a great administrator like Sherese, as we continue to build our brand as a department," stated Zorich. "Not only is she a fan of the academic success of student-athletes but watching how she interacts with our student-athletes since she's been here shows that she is willing to help them achieve success in and out of the classroom."

Parker comes to CSU after serving as the Assistant Director for the Institute for Student Success at Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pa. At UC, she provided direct leadership for the college's eight tutoring programs that included over 80 peer tutors.

She also served as the Director of Student-Athlete Academic Services and Senior Woman Administrator at fellow NCAA Division I member Mississippi Valley State in Itta Bena, MS, where she helped MVSU's department receive a three-year, $900,000 grant through the NCAA-Accelerating Academic Success Program which was used to develop and implement a comprehensive academic service for student-athletes called the Academic Skills Parlor.

Parker also served in various administrative roles at Lincoln (Pa.) University with her last appointment being the Interim Director of Athletics. She developed an academic services unit within LU's athletic department that was recognized nationally by the NCAA Division II President's Council for having graduation success rate of 93 percent in the Top 10 of all D-II institutions.
