Ray is one of the most sought-after celebrity stylists in Hollywood and owns and operates the private Lawrence Ray Concepts Salon in Los Angeles, California.

After earning a cosmetology degree simultaneously with a BA in Music, Lawrence Ray Parker became one of the most requested educators at Design Essentials, was a recipient of the Outstanding Service Award and selected to create the styles for their 2000 advertisements.

With Farouk Systems International, Ray established himself as a Platinum Level Educator working on main stages teaching up to twenty thousand people at a time from up to 42 different countries.

As a celebrity stylist and makeup artist he has worked on numerous TV productions, awards shows, magazine and video shoots with the likes of Naomi Campbell, Shaunie O’Neal (Basketball Wives), MTV, VH-1, BET (and BET’s CEO, Deborah Lee), FOX Networks, Essence, Vogue (cover), InStyle, and music artists Sean “Puffy” Combs, Spinderella, Destiny’s Child, 50 Cent and Olivia.
