Darico Jackson: Celebrity Hair Artist & Educator

DaRico (Rico) Jackson has always been an artist at heart. So his decision to change his career path from majoring in Business Management to attending National Academy of Beauty Arts came as no surprise to people who know him well. From the beginning of his career as a hair stylist, Rico was determined to do more than just hair.

He offered his client’s innovative hair designs that were unique to their personality and day-to-day needs. He quickly carved out a niche for himself in the over saturated St. Louis market and set himself apart from the sea of ordinary stylists, which instantly gained him a large and faithful clientele that included area stylists that wanted know the secrets to his success.

Some Of Darico clients has been Shaquille O'Neal, Tasha Smith, Michael Ealy, Tichina Arnold, Raven Simone, Paula Abdul, Dawn Robinson, Lorraine Toussaint, Eartha Kitt, Dianne Shur, Tanya Blaunt, Trinity 5:7, and Cherelle. Despite his busy schedule, DaRico stays focused on his goals. “My gifts are a blessing to be thankful for” he says, “I never want to take my life for granted”.
