Jack Herer (b. 1939) is the author of The Emperor Wears No Clothes, which taught a whole new generation about hemp. A former Goldwater Republican, he is promoting a new initiative, California Cannabis Hemp & Health Initiative 2008, An Act To Amend The Health And Safety Code Of California. The full text is on his website, www.jackherer.com/ Jack is recovering remarkably well from a stroke and he can sometimes be a little difficult to understand, but it is worth the effort.
