Attendance in America’s churches is dwindling rapidly. Yet, the need to spread the gospel continues to be paramount. How can we as Christians move from behind the four walls of our church buildings to interact in our communities and meet the spiritual needs of our neighbors without coming across as forceful and preachy? Should outreach efforts target only those with physical needs, or should they seek to build relationships with all members of the community?

Toni Campbell has worn a variety of work hats over the years in Human Resources, radio, and education, but her passion is reaching the community for Christ through practical acts of service. At her former church, Toni founded the outreach ministry, "CommunityConnections", and is now employed on staff at Princeton Alliance Church (PAC) as the Benevolence Ministry Manager. Toni spends her days running PAC's food pantry, car ministry, Life Skills Workshops, various large-scale events, and handling daily financial assistance requests from the community.

Several years ago, she was honored with the Mercer County Woman of Achievement award for her outreach work. In the evening, Toni writes. Her devotionals have appeared in The Quiet Hour and on christiandevotions.us. Her blog, Lakeside Lessons, can be found at lakesidelessons.blogspot.com. She is currently working on her first book: a step-by-step guide to community outreach.

Please join us Tuesday, October 24th at 8:00 AM MDT, when Toni will share steps she has taken to create innovative programs that take the gospel out of the church building and into the community.
