Entrepreneur and Jazz Fan Featured On Show

Earlier this decade, Cicely Mitchell and Al Strong formed Art Of Cool which has become a primary part of the cultural landscape here in Durham, and which has gotten all kinds of national attention bringing quality jazz and Hip Hop here to the area.  Among the acts they have brought have included Bilal, Ninth Wonder, George Clinton, Common, and many more.   Ms. Mitchell, whose background is in Bio-statistics, uses her analytical mind to help create this wonderful festival which continues to make national headlines and which brings people from all over the country to NC during the Spring.  Recently, she announced that the festival would launch a full version in Charlotte.   We look forward to hearing from this lady about her new goals, both for the festival and for herself professionally and  what has inspired her....We also look forward to hearing about her love of Jazz and Hip Hop and other topics as well.....Should be a great show for folks to catch.
