Therians and Otherkins do they exist in today's world and what are they?

On the 21 the movie titled " Twlight" will hit the the big screen. But in today's world do such things as vampires, werewolves and such exist. I will be speaking with a close friend who has a lot of knowledge about vampires and also myself about werewolves, therians and otherkins. We will be touching on the many legends of these creatures.
