Evolve!
Nurturing the New in Consciousness, the Arts, and Culture
hosted by : Robin White Turtle Lysne, M.A., M.F.A., Ph.D.

Evolve! brings you people and ideas on the cutting edge of change opening the shells of the past to move our culture into the now.

We are all in great need of sustainable ideas for change. The arts and evolving consciousness are how we are bringing that change to the culture at large.

This show will bring you the wise, the foolish and the heart-based to help us meet the challenges of the times we are in.

Today's show features the book by the host, author/artist/intuitive Robin White Turtle Lysne, called Ceremonies from the Heart, for Children Adults and the Earth. Lysne has spent many years researching and creating new rites and traditions that  bring people together. This book outlines how to create your own rite of passage at any age and any stage of life.  37 chapters give people stories created by herself and others to support life's transitions. In the five sections of the book, the last one offers rites for and with the Earth. How do we help the Earth heal from the destruction we create every day with our unsustainable lifestyle? "Unless we learn to see the Earth as sacred, we are not going to overcome ourdestructive attitudes towards the Earth in Western Culture."

Lysne, has written 7 books, this one, Ceremonies from the Heart is a second edition of her book, Dancing Up the Moon, published by Conari Press in 1995, focused on women. Ceremonies expands rites for men and boys as well as Earth rites. It also creates rites with the Earth, a new idea whose time has come. Lysne is also an intuitive/medium and energy medicine practitioner with 30 years experience helping others.  She enjoys seeing others thrive. Websites: bluebonebooks.com and thecenterforthesoul.com
