HOW TO TAKE ACTION
EPISODE #142

In this week’s episode we’re chatting about:

The difference between those who take action and those who don’t
How to identify what exactly it is that is keeping you from taking action and following through on what you say you want to do; 17 ways that might be hindering you from being the actin-taker you want to be
15 benefits of being an action-taker

Do you want to distinguish yourself this year? All you have to do is to do something small – take action on something that will move the needle forward and in the right direction for you – every single day.

Infuse your life with action. Don’t wait for it to happen. Make it happen. Make your own future. Make your own love. And whatever your beliefs, honor your creator, not by passively waiting for grace to come down from upon high, but by doing what you can to make grace happen…yourself, right now, right down here on Earth.
– Bradley Whitford

Action is the foundational key to all success.
–Pablo Picasso

Do you want to know who you are? Don’t ask. Act! Action will delineate and define you.
-Thomas Jefferson

Information isn’t what’s scarce – the ability to do something with it is.

HOW TO IDENTIFY WHAT’S KEEPING YOU FROM ACTION:

People don’t take action because of a variety of reasons:

Being too busy keeping self busy rather than living life the way you wish to live it out (confusing the difference between being productive and being busy)
Over-analyzing the past (allowing mistakes you’ve made in the past, or falsities people told you about yourself limit you from being a new person now and in the future)
Over-analyzing the future or the steps needing to be taken (getting lost in the fog instead of understanding that the fog is part of the process)
