Power and Purpose: The Power of Expectancy

“Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” (Mark 11:24)

HAVE YOU EVER EXPERIENCED ASKING GOD FOR SOMETHING, BUT IN THE BACK OF YOUR MIND YOU REALLY WEREN’T EXPECTING HIM TO GIVE IT TO YOU… OR YOU HAD A QUESTION ABOUT WHETHER HE WOULD DO IT OR NOT, BECAUSE IT SEEMED LIKE IT WAS “TOO BIG” – MAYBE, OUT OF THE NORM – PERHAPS IT WAS OUTSIDE YOUR BOX?

THE KEY IS KNOWING GOD’S WILL FOR YOUR LIFE, AND KNOWING HIS PURPOSE FOR YOUR LIFE. WHEN YOU KNOW THESE THINGS, YOU WON’T ASK “AMISS”, OR ASK FOR THINGS THAT YOU KNOW ARE OUTSIDE OF HIS WILL FOR YOUR LIFE.
