Project history:

After hearing about the allegations of abuse at Penn State, I decided that I wanted to make a difference and make the community service component of my bat mitzvah preparation towards helping survivors. I want to make sure this never happens again. With the support of my father, Charles, I created Bands4RAINN in January 2012, and have raised over $19,000 to date!!! With my Bat Mitzvah now at its end point, I have decided that this is too important a cause to let drop...Bands4RAINN will continue into the foreseeable future. Bands4RAINN say “HOPE. COURAGE. STRENGTH.” We have sold them at many different events, with the largest event being the Penn State Blue and White game in April 2012.
