SPEAKYAMINDS: Babies, Birth, and the Black Family

This evening we are discussing the Black Family and the importance of being responsible with ourselves, our families, especially our children. Black women in the US die from complications during and after childbirth at a rate 4 times or more higher than any other demographic. We are not facing more complications, but we are more likely to lose our lives. Our children are more likely to perish before their first birthday. Health: mentally, spiritually, and physically is of utmost importance.
