Get an hour's worth of common sense about the economy, the markets, Wall St. and Main St. with Larry Doyle, a Wall St. veteran and NoQuarterUSA blog's financial contributor.

Tonight's guest will be Helen Davis Chaitman, a prominent attorney and partner in the New York based law firm Phillips Nizer LLP. Ms. Chaitman is a nationally recognized litigator with a diverse trial practice in the areas of lender liability, bankruptcy, bank fraud, RICO, professional malpractice, trusts and estates, and white collar defense. In early 2009, Ms. Chaitman spearheaded the firm’s pro bono representation of investors in Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC. She has been an outspoken advocate for the victims of Madoff’s Ponzi scheme and for the government failures which caused massive losses to innocent investors.

Given the unprecedented developments in the economy and markets, Helen has focused tremendously on the organization that is charged with protecting investors. No, not the SEC, not FINRA, but rather the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC). How is SIPC doing? How well are you protected? If you are an investor or care about the markets, you do not want to miss this show.

And don't forget . . . if you need some direction navigating the economic landscape, please visit Larry Doyle's blog, Sense on Cents.
