Interview with Pam and David Hoover owners of Roosters' Run Farm,  Pam and David are breeders of Shetland and Finn sheep, Angora goats, Lamas, and rabbits. They produce hand spun yarns, wool and mohair roving, and also give lessons on spinning, knitting, needle felting, and sell spinning wheels. They run a small homestead in Washington county Indiana where they garden, raise their meat, and produce fiber and wool from their animals. They have been doing this as a family for a very long time and are into sharing techniques for do it your self sheep raising and wool production. Please join us as Pam and David share their experiences of producing wool clothing from sheep to shawl so to speak. Also Pam is very good at various techniques of making felt that can be used for arts/crafts, winter clothing, blankets, boot liners, tents, and a whole lot of other very useful items around the homestead. Who knows maybe you will want to spin/ weave/knit/felt your own winter clothing as another preparedness option.
