Conquerors Cafe Author Spotlight Featuring Author Robyn Evans

Robyn Evans is an author, speaker and vocalist. She grew up between Baltimore, Maryland and York, Pennsylvania. The daughter of a pastor, and an administrative assistant, Robyn was always surrounded by sermons and letters. Her parents were the first people who encouraged her to write what God put on her heart.

Robyn began writing letters to herself as a means of encouragement.  Depression engulfed her at one point in her life due to the state of the world, and things that were going on around her.  During that time, God spoke to her and encouraged her to never give up.  It was during this time the Prisoner of Hope email ministry was born!

Starting with 12 people, Robyn sent out weekly letters and scriptures as reminders of hope and healing.  Her ability to encourage others spread like wild fire.  As a result of this, today more than 120 subscribers receive the weekly emails.

Her second book in the One Hope at a Time trilogy, Robyn shares more than 100 of the letters she wrote about protection, provision, and direction of God.  Written between 2013 and 2015, these letters explore the heart of a sinner saved by grace reaching for higher ground in heavenly realms.  Her letters, along with space for personal exploration and journaling, were created to be a lasting reminder that there is always HOPE…even in the darkest places.

Robyn is determined to use her writing to open eyes to spiritual truths and win hearts to Jesus, as she encourages everyone she meets to take this journey one HOPE at a time!
