Wayne County Self Help Organization and Winston County Self Help Cooperative’s Small Ruminants Field Day will occur on Tuesday October 25, 2016, starting 9am at Richard and Ruthie Carter Farm 97 Springhill Church Rd Shubuta, MS 39360. The field day features a partnership with National Center for Appropriate Technology and Risk Management to help farmers broaden their knowledge about their services. 

Participants will learn:
* Small Ruminant Profitability
* Farm Liability Issues
* Safe Livestock Handling
* Grazing & Whole Farm Insurance
