National Women in Ag. Association will celebrate their 3rd Annual New Generation Symposium on April 18-20, 2013 at Jackson State University in Jackson, MS. We will broadcast lives from this historic event on Friday morning to provide you with an up close view of this grand celebration.

NWIAA’s Mission
National Women In Agriculture Association’s mission is to empower, educate, assist and provide opportunities to underserved citizens of all ages; with an emphasis on health and agriculture. The following are NWIAA’s main objectives:

1. To develop locally grown food security systems in underserved communities (food deserts).
2. Ensure that future generations will have opportunities and are respected as experts and professionals in the industries of agriculture/farming through USDA programs.
3. Help to increase the number of minority participants in the agriculture/farming industry.
4. To promote character, health and income from the ground up!

NWIAA’s Business Women are among the best at educating, grooming, and sustaining future generations with innovation and creativity in the industry of agriculture. NWIAA, through USDA programs and other agricultural programs, assist individuals to learn how to live healthier lives and give back to their communities. Young Americans, beginning farmers and ranchers, and minorities have all expressed an interest in agriculture, especially sustainable growing and farming as result of NWAA’s education and new generation techniques.
