Malcolm C. Miller is in his second stint as Head Coach at Louisville High. Miller’s coaching experience spans over a 25-year period.  He became Head Coach in April 2010. He was head football coach at Noxubee County High School in 1995-2009 after 8 years at Louisville High School, and 8 previous years at Noxubee where he served as head coach.

From 1979-87, Miller became the Head Coach at Noxubee and coached defensive side of the ball until 1987.  He left Noxubee after the ‘87 season and moved into a defensive coordinator position coaching linebackers and working as a track coach at Louisville High School in Louisville, MS. As a Louisville assistant, Miller won two Class 4A state titles (1991, 1993).  He

continued to work at Louisville the next eight years, serving as the defensive coordinator, linebacker coach and Head Track coach. 

During his tenure at Noxubee and Louisville, Miller coached teams who sent over ten players to the National and Canadian Football leagues.  Some of the noteworthy players who were drafted or signed as free-agent are as follows: Bo Lewis (CFL), Darion Conner (Atlanta Falcon, 2nd Round), Buster Barnett (Buffalo Bills), Chris Jones (Minnesota Viking)

Miller is a graduate of Alcorn State University(‘70-’73) of Lorman, MS. After attending college at Wiley College (Dallas, TX) in ‘68 under a baseball scholarship it was his choice to home back in 1970. Miller managed to play one season at ASU due to his focus on his studies.
