Jackalyn has been in recovery for a number of years, and has helped to start some twelve step programs.  She started in Al-Anon in 1983; however, did not stay, which is a part of her story.  She helped to start Spenders and Debtors Anonymous in 1987, and Work Alcoholics Anonymous in 1993.  She returned to Al-Anon in 1993 and has 21 years in that program.  She worked the program of SLA starting in 1993, and served on the intergroup board that existed at that time for this program.  She has worked the steps concerning thought and control addiction.  On June 26, 1994, she started her program in AA, and has 19 and half years in this program.
