On this episode Lee and Bev explore the {blank}stock phenomenon, a suffix which originated with that little berg in upstate New York in 1969 and became a mecca to peace, love and music. There are a couple of local "stocks" that we'll be exploring on this episode.
We'll have Fred Leffler as our guest to talk about the mega jam session phenomenon which has been come to be known as Landingstock. How it came about, what it's all about, and we'll delve into the Maryland jamming community, which seems to have found its own niche recently.
We'll also be featuring a more in-depth discussion of Stanstock 2014, scheduled for November 1 and 2 this year at Timonium Fairgrounds. This is the second annual event for the organization which features over 150 musicians coming together for two days to raise funds for improving the lives of terminally ill children and for our wounded veterans.
Also in the lineup are appearances from Ronnie Buss, the Baltimoron and Steptoe T. Magnificent's Second in the Shadows.
