With two weeks remaining before pitchers and catchers are due to report, the New York Mets still have unsettled business.

The failure to trade Dillon Gee thus far poses a log jam in the starting rotation, and potentially crowds the bullpen with yet another right-hander.  Unless something changes, it seems then, southpaw Josh Edgin is destined for an abusive workload.

Meanwhile, the general manager down ticked his personal expectations this season by one game, to 89 victories, yet is formulating a tentative plan to monitor Matt Harvey's innings in order to have him pitch into October.  In much clearer terms, Terry Collins is also making pretty bold playoff predictions for the upcoming season.

The 93rd episode of the Rising Apple Report will discuss these matters, and more.  Hosting this evening's roundtable discussion will be Rich Sparago.  He will be joined by fellow staff writers Michael Lecolant and Chris Schubert.

Tonight's special guest will be Greg Prince, from FaithAndFearInFlushing.com.

They'll also discuss the recent departure of SNY's pre and post game analyst, Bobby Ojeda, and of course, revisit the 1993 regular season.

The show starts at 9:00pm (EST) sharp.  You're always welcome to call and join the discussion.  The number to dial is 646-929-0337.
