Ep. 54 - Convening About Baseball in Queens

The Rising Apple Report is back for its 54th episode! Sam Maxwell will host the jam-packed show, with Michael Lecolant joining him from the Rising Apple writing team! Also joining those two is the Orange & Blue prophet himself, Metstradamus!

There's always plenty of hot stove to discuss (speculate, rant, etc.) about, and we will certainly do so, but the main thing we would like to focus on at the top of the show is the upcoming first annual Queens Baseball Convention, organized by Shannon Shark of Mets Police and Darren Meenan of The 7 Line. Keith of Mets Police, aka @Mediagoon, will join us to give the rundown on the fan fest the Mets themselves failed to put together.

The Hot Stove is wrapping up, and the Mets may or may not have a new shortstop in Stephen Drew as Spring Training draws closer. We'll discuss where that matter currently stands, as well as any new hot stove updates that brew up.

And of course, we'll continue to discuss the best of the best to wear the number 54 in New York Mets history. This one's the...echem...best so far!
