Ep. 45 - Hot Stove w Gary Mack From Mets Musings

The Rising Apple Report has eached its 45th episode! Dan Haefeli will host, with Sam Maxwell joining him for all the latest chatter regarding your New York Mets.

Joining the today as well is a podcast veteran in his own right, Gary Mack of Mets Musings. We will discuss his Metsian roots, as well as when he got started podcasting.

Rumors are starting to circulate as to who the Mets are and/or aren't interested in, specifically over the last couple days regarding the shortstop position, clearly a position in need of an upgrade. No matter who or what is reported, however, the Mets seem to be in a "damned if they do/damned if they don't" place with a good amount of Mets fans, who jump to conclusions based on one little tweet. We'll not only get into the specific rumors, but also discuss the current Mets fanbase environment and the near fever-pitch that three years of anticipation has arguably created.

Also, as we did last week with episode #44, we will go over the players who have worn #45 in Mets history and reminisce/discuss who takes the #45 cake.
