Special guest: Girl In a Coma is a rock band from San Antonio, Texas on Joan Jett's Blackheart Record's label. The name is a reference to The Smiths' song Girlfriend in a Coma. In October 2007, while in New York, Girl In a Coma were called by Morrissey to open for the rest of his tour. Besides Morrissey Girl in A Coma have opened for Frank Brank, The Pogues, Tegan and Sara, Social Distortion and many more. They have also toured with Warp and the True Colors Tour. As a band Girl In A Coma have gained a respectful and loyal following. Rich Willey will be talking with Jenn and spinning some tracks off their new release "Both Before I'm Gone."
