Ryan Palmer: A New Leader at Martha’s Table

For the 35 years, Martha’s Table has epitomized hospitality and community in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.  Martha’s Table continues to work to build a better future of children, their families and many neighbors in DC by increasing access to healthy starts, healthy eating and healthy connections.  Now, in a changing D.C., Martha’s Table plans a $20 million move to Ward 8 in Southeast, DC.

Ryan Palmer, Director of Community Outreach, is the newest member of the management team at Martha’s Table.  She is a strong community advocate with over 10 years’ experience serving youth and families in areas of high need. In 2012, Ryan managed a citywide, grassroots political campaign that resulted in over 25,000 votes for first-time candidate AJ Cooper.  

Ryan holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania and a Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law.
