What happens when a self-reliant man runs into significant health challenges? Claude Werner has served as an Army Ranger, taught firearms skills to military and law enforcement, and publishes a blog on self-defense. A few years ago, he began to have significant heart-related issues that made it difficult for him to exert any physical effort. He thought he might die. After he had a pacemaker/defibrillator implanted, he has begun to regain his strength. In this interview he talks about how he's dealt with these challenges.
