Dan Willis served nearly 30 years as a police officer, retiring as a Captain from the La Mesa Police near San Diego. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy. He is a former crimes of violence, child molestation, homicide detective and SWAT Commander and has taught at the San Diego Police Academy for 12 years.

Dan is the author of the emotional survival and wellness guidebook “Bulletproof Spirit: The First Responders Essential Resource for Protecting and Healing Mind and Heart.” He travels the country providing emotional survival training to first responders.
