Cultural competence and the LGTB community

With Mental Health Counselor Reid Kirchhoff

Host Silvia Casabianca, LMHC, interviews Reid Kirchhoff, who specializes among other things in working with the LGBTQ community and their allies.  With a performance background, Reid often uses humor and expressive arts to obtain emotional responses and feelings from his clients.  Reid works closely with his clients to ensure they are comfortable and secure in their therapeutic relationship. Reid is currently in private practice in Naples, FL, offering one-on-one and couples counseling to adults in the above issues.

He is also a volunteer at the Mental Health Association of SwFL and through the association he has offered a class to clinicians and the general public about cultural competence as it related to the LGBTQ community.
