Buggin Malone's musical writings and production are reflected in his life experiences, his passions, and his philosophy on life is revealed in his musical writings. While very proud of being Oneida, he never fails to forget that he is of blended tribes, Prairie Band Potawatomi, Ho-Chunk, and Stockbridge-Munsee. Buggin Malone was born as Wayne Malone, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He grew up on the Eastside of Milwaukee, and struggled with gang activities throughout his early years. These troubles lead him to being incarcerated as a teen. That is when he realized he had the ability to write. Ten years later he released his first CD, titled "Birth of A Warrior". Which earned him three award nominations, the Native American Music Awards, and the Indian Summer Music Awards and Just Plain Folks Music Awards. Buggin' s political influences and views shaped the direction of "Birth of A Warrior", which contains, his most requested song to date, "Dedication to Leonard Peltier".
