Rob Fife is of Nez Perce/Cayuse and Scottish descent.He has been involved in the struggle for indigeneous rights in one way or another,both inwardly and outwardly, his entire life. His education and early employment history were based in theater and fine arts combined with the life of a PRCA rodeo cowboy and rancher.Rob has been a respected professional horseman for over 35 years in nearly every breed and discipline. Rob's methods teach us to approach the horse with a feeling of acceptance and value for "the whole horse" - body, mind and spirit. To see the horse's world through the horse's eyes. Directing and supporting the horse's instincts, body and nature in order to use them to our best advantage. He revels in being allowed to see the world from the unique perspective his heritage and experience have given him. He's happy to be as he says "Just another Soft Hearted,Hard-A**ed, Half-Breed, Rock n Roll Cowboy Poet, Hardworkin', Lazy, Liberal Thinkin',Foul Mouthed, Redneck Renaissance Man with one foot in a Cowpie and the other on the Asphalt ".
