The Green Bay Packers defeated the New York Giants 23-16 on Sunday night, at Lambeau Field. The Packers improve to 3-1, while the Giants fall to 2-3. Aaron Rodgers seemed human by only completing 23 of 45 passes and threw two interceptions. Jordy Nelson and DeVante Adams had touchdown catches, and Randall Cobb had a touchdown called back after an illegal shift was called nullifying the score. Cobb endured  a scary hit after breaking a short pass outside and turning up field to gain the first down. He finished the game with nine catches for 108 yards. Amazingly, Cobb passed a concussion test and should be ok to play against the Dallas Cowboys.

Once again, the Packers run defense was stout. The leagues number one run defense made the Giants one dimensional, and pinned their ears back to pressure Eli Manning. The box score will show four sacks, Manning was under pressure most of the night.  Dropped passes and overthrown balls cost the Giants some big plays, and possibly points. Although the margin of defeat was seven, the Packers clearly controlled both lines of scrimmage, and controlled the pace of the game.
