Thursday night is called a 'rematch' of Super Bowl 50, but time has changed the overall make-up of both teams. Kelvin Benjamin, who tore his ACL before the season started, returns to lead the Carolina Panthers receiving group. Peyton Manning retired and the Broncos will hand the reigns over Trevor Siemian. The Broncos also cut their leading rusher from a year ago, Ronnie Hillman. The teams are the same, but the winner of this game is only 1-0, and has 15 more games to endure before the NFL playoffs.

With the start of the NFL, that means September baseball. The American League East has the most competitve division race. Boston, Toronto, and Baltimore are battling for the division title. The two teams remaining could also make the playoffs as the wildcard teams. The National League has one race, in the National League West. The Dodgers lead the Giants by four games, with 24 games remaining.
