Do we hold professional athletes to different standards?

In light of the extreme media attention that is being shed on current NFL players who have been accused of domestic violence (some have been recorded). One must ask is this the nature of the game, the privilege of those behind the scenes, or is the public too critical of those in the limelight (seeing as how DV is a universal issue)?

Tonight we will talk about the individual instances of league disciplinary actions and even have a call in from a former NFL (perhaps current NFL player) who has had an inside look at this world.
