Dr. Lydia Kearney Carlis is an educational researcher (www.eyemaginED.com) and photographer (www.eyemaginationimaging.com) based in Washington, DC.
Lydia has dedicated her education career to students most at risk when schools fail them -- children of low-prestige minority backgrounds, children with limited school language, and children with special education needs.
With photography, Lydia is passionate about helping women executives, entrepreneurs and creatives use portrait art to show up in the marketplace as their best selves, and capturing educational excellence in all its forms.
Outside of work, Lydia is the wife of DaNa Carlis, a research scientist and fantastic father, and a proud soccer mom to a rising high school senior, Dia Dannielle.
