Within one year we have gained some powerful Ancestors as 3 Master Teachers such as Dr. Yosef Ben Jochannan, Dr. Frances Cress Welsing, and Dr. Delbert Blair have made their transition into the Ancestral Realm. There have been many others in our communities that have passed on and leave a legacy and very large shoes to fill. However, we have learned much from them and we must continue to honor them. As African people and original peoples of the world, ancestral veneration is a part of our lives and consciousness. We will honor their spirits and share their stories and continue the work in which they have begun and carried out so well. We will share ways in which to connect with and honor our Ancestors that span over a variety of traditions and look forward to messages and ways that will assist us today.

We will also discuss the importance of honoring and revering the Elders and Master Teachers in our communities that are among us today. We should not wait until someone is gone to show how much we love them or acknowledge the importance of their contributions to society.

Black History is living and active today! We look forward to your participation and constructive dialogue.
