Today's special guest, Shira Hunt is a sound therapist and hospice nurse based in Middle Tennessee.

Shira is walking proof that healing with sound is not only possible, but actually happens. She learned about this work quite by accident--a rather dramatic accident that took place in 2000. Shira was driving a car involved in a head-on collision. Her right leg was so seriously injured that the doctors believed amputation below the knee was inevitable and absolutely necessary.

Shira had a profound conviction that her leg would heal and insisted on surgical reconstruction. After six months of no new bone growth, the doctors were pressing her to accept amputation before she developed more serioius complications. Still believing in her ability to heal, she put the doctors off for one more month and began using ultrasound waves, tuned to the frequency of bone, to jump-start the bone regeneration process.

After three weeks, the first new bone growth was detected. Over the next year and a half, still encased in a removable cast with plates and pins holding her bones together, she underwent daily frequency therapy to maintain stimulation of bone growth. Three years after the car accident she was able to walk again.

She researched and learned as much as possible about the frequency healing. Subsequent training in several dynamic modalities associated with sound therapy enabled Shira to develop a process that enables her students to embark upon a self-directed therapy program. She seeks to empower the lives of everyone she connects with to bring health and vitality naturally back into their lives.
