Broken Gospel? Or, Broken Hearts?

The Lausanne conference is just finishing up in South Africa. This international gathering of evangelical Christians from all over the world has heard some surprising messages from Southern and Eastern hemisphere Christians: The Western Church--including Evangelicals--is broken! Is this a true assessment of Northern Christianity? Or, is it an overly harsh message from people who do not live in the context of secular, pluralistic, democracies?
