Only in America! But, I love her just the same.

America just celebrated her 234th birthday. On occasion, it is a country that is defined by incredible contradictions and extremes. On occasion, it is marked by the development of absurd, maddening trends. But, mostly, this is a nation that is synonymous with greatness; it remains a country that enjoys an unprecedented amount of freedom and opportunity. Today, I will look at some of those extremes and contradictions as well as those instances that continue to remind us of America's nobleness.
