We need to return to the wisdom of past to move forward into the future After Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. endured the hardships of civil rights abuses like being jailed and beaten. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. stll sood up for peace. He advocated for non-violence, when he could have pushed for hate and to do what was done to black people. Instead he embraced non violent resistance. Dogs were let loose as were police let loose upon non violent people. He stood his ground.
