In recognition of International Women’s Day 2017 on Wednesday, March 8, 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET, 2 a.m. UK, Purpose Talk Radio host Cindy Freeman is revisiting an interview don with ose Trefz in which she speaks about her own journey to creating a supportive female community as well as the history of a feminine support system around the world.

Rose has been a small business owner for 40 years, tuning pianos since 1977. She met the love of her life in 1986, moving from Michigan to Pennsylvania. Since her teen years Rose has been a peace activist, a product of being raised in the 1960's era and having to see her brother go to fight in the Vietnam War. With the advent of social networking Rose’s focus has broadened to include raising awareness of female gender issues and rights, environmental issues and supporting and promoting global events for other Facebook pages and groups.

In 2012 Rose started the Worldwide Women’s Support Circle Facebook page and WWSC group. In 2014, she began a new platform to bring women together with the creation of the Global Sisterhood Facebook page. Rose is a facilitator of her local community Sister Circle when inspired by the efforts of Unify (a Facebook page that has over 1,500,000) and their creation of a Global Sisterhood Event, International Women's Day March 8, 2016.
