A Tarot Tribute To Rachel Pollack 1945 - 2023

Over 20 years ago, a good friend gifted me Rachel Pollack's Seventy-eight Degrees of Wisdom, Parts I & II and I was immediately immersed in their insightful, timeless interpretations of classic Tarot themes. The writing was fresh, fun and provocative, I learned a lot. The Psychic Funhouse read over the weekend in her wife, Judith Zoe Mateen's announcement, that Ms. Pollack passed away on Friday, April 7th, at 77. She leaves behind a tremendous legacy of writing and teaching, she created the first openly trans character in a major comic book (Coagula in DC Comics Doom Patrol), wrote several Science and Fantasy fiction novels, and crafted her wonderful work with tarot. Pollack transitioned in the 70s and supported the Gay Community and Trans Rights. Our readings and healings are dedicated to Rachel tonight.
