Jeanette's Autism Show is a place for discussions around all things Autism, from advocacy, to parenting, employment, love and relationships, books and conferences, sensory issues, anxiety and education and everything else in between. The show is hosted by Autistic author, advocate, artist and Government official Jeanette Purkis. Jeanette has guests form all walks of life who have something interesting and helpful to say about the issues faced by Autistic folks and their families. This week Jeanette is interviewed by Auitstic author of 'The Nine Degrees of Autism' and 'Psychobiography of a Systemiser', Phil Wylie. Phil was a previous guest on the show but this week he will be the host, interviewing Jeanette about hr own autobiograpjy - 'Finding a Different Kind of Normal' and her upcoming publication 'The Guide to Good Mental Health on the Autism Spectrum'. The conversation covers topics in Jeanette's autobiography including Autism and criminal justice issues, drug and alcohol abuse and mental illness. It is a very candid and interesting interview.
