What a wonderful show we have today Sandy and I will be interviewing Willow Hope, author of the girl in the panda hat. Poetry will be read during this show and we will be getting into Willows inspiration and story.

her bio

Willow is a young woman with Aspergers Syndrome, Attention Deficit Disorder, Dyspraxia and Dyscalculia. After struggling with the social aspect of school she left early with only 2 qualifications. She made several attempts to gain more education but decided to settle for working from home, where she doesn’t need to prove to an employer what she’s capable of. Her and her partner started their own business in early 2012 which Willow runs herself doing various graphic design projects. She also runs her YouTube channel and Facebook page which will fit alongside her main blogging website which she is currently developing.

Since 2009, she has gained an online following thanks to her video blog about her life with Aspergers. On the whole her videos are well received and she continues to post regularly, after taking a year out to spend time with her partner. They now upload videos together weekly, alongside her regular blog and her serious videos in which she speaks only about Aspergers. She recently released a book of poems which she wrote to deal with her emotions whilst going through diagnosis and she is currently putting together a second book focussing on the difficulties she has faced and how she copes now, as an adult on the spectrum.”
