Freshwater Now on Phil Friedman Outdoors Radio

The Striper King Classic is on the horizon with a fabulous event planned for Saturday September 28 at Diamond Valley Lake in Southern California. The event will promote kids fishing and honor the Wounded Warriors.

General manager Bob Minor from the Rancho Cucamonga Bass Pro Shop joins Phil to talk about the event. Tournament Director Barry Ogawa tells you about the Laker Girls, the great prizes and how you can sign up. Also joining Phil is Richard Imamura from the hit movie, “The Manzanar Fishing Club”, who will also be attending the event.

Louis Flynn joins Phil to talk about some big salmon coming out of the streams around Lake Michigan as he decided to make a spur of the moment trip from Oklahoma late last night. Some crazy things have already gone on driving to the Great Lakes.
