Dr. Reid Zimmerman is an author, consultant and Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE). With over 30 years in the nonprofit sector he is a Professor of Practice focusing on organizational development, fundraising, evaluation, and strategic planning at Hamline University and adjunct faculty at University of St. Thomas.

He has authored several books and in 2014 he authored The Seven Deadly Sayings of Nonprofit Leaders: And How to Avoid Them, and even though the title indicates Nonprofit leader, this publication's principles cross sectors and really apply to leadership in general.
