Jordan Riak & wife, Anne, on his 80th Birthday (IX/Plain Talk About Spanking)

Today the man who crafted the legislation to have California school beatings banned, which occurred in 1986, turns 80 and that man is Mr. Jordan Riak.  We honor Jordan today for the many hours that he has devoted in his lifetime to having adults gain awareness of the negative impact and social-lls which result from striking a developing human being for gaining their obedience, as described throughout a 16-page booklet entitled "Plain Talk About Spanking," of which Jordan is author.  Jordan's lovely wife, Anne Riak, will take a moment to express what it has been like to be married to this more than thirty-year child activist.
