Joe is a Veteran of over 12 years with multiple deployments to Iraq. He is currently active duty as an AGR soldier in the US Army Reserves.

Through comedy, broadcasting and entertainment Joe has found a way to deal with his PTSD. Joe’s goal in entertainment is hoping he can reach out to others that are facing the same challenges from PTSD. During his two week R&R on his last deployment, Joe decided he was going to attempt a lifelong dream, standup comedy during an open mic night. Upon his return to Iraq he would perform every week at an MWR tent in Bagdad using his alter ego Silent J. At the end of his tour he decided to perform at local clubs back home on a regular basis. Soon after, he created a list of goals to reach in his life. Being a radio DJ hosting a talk show has been a dream since meeting a local morning duo at the age of six. Starting an on-line radio show was a first step. He blended comedy, personal stories and serious topics. Guests varied from politicians, athletes, authors, adult actresses and celebrities.
