How do you deal with the holidays?  Though many of us view the holidays as special times filled with fun, family, and celebration, these days can be extremely stressful and difficult for many.

Maybe you have lost a loved one who will not be celebrating with the family this year.  Perhaps you are a veteran who lives with Post Traumatic Stress.  The extended family may not understand.  The house crowded with relatives may be too much.

With Thanksgiving and Christmas just around the corner, we thought we would tackle this topic.  Join us for VOW Talk Radio on Tuesday, November 13, at 7:00 PM EST.  Dr. Rolando Diaz, a Give an Hour provider, and clinical psychologist with an independent practice in Arlington, Virginia, will be joining us to give us some tips on handling the holidays.  Dr. Díaz works with veterans dealing with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and other adjustment disorders that come up after returning from combat. He works with children, adolescents, and adults, and works frequently with families and couples.

We encourage you to call in during the show with your comments and questions for Dr. Diaz.  You can also join us in our live chatroom during the show.
