There is a big debate going on right now between psychiatrists and military officers about whether or not to continue to use the word disorder in the same breath as post traumatic stress (PTS).

For those of us who have a loved one who has been diagnosed with post traumatic stress as a result of combat, we consider PTS to be an injury, and frankly, we are tired of the stigma that is associated with post combat stress.

Join us on Tuesday, May 15, when VOW Talk Radio takes on this topic. Shawn Gourley of MIlitary with PTSD joins VOW Talk Radio team members Patti Katter and Beth Pennington to tackle this controversial topic.

Be sure to join us in a live discussion at 7:00 pm by tuning into our show on Blog Talk Radio.  You can also join the discussion by calling 424-258-9240 or by participating in our live chat. Just enter the chat room once the show goes live.  We want to hear what you think about this controversial topic.

Let’s work together to support our veterans and STOP the STIGMA associated with Combat Post Traumatic Stress.
