Roxy Lopez was born and raised in Hawaii relocated to Los Angeles at the age of 19 with her band and hit the road. Moving to LA came after she opened for a band named Journey in front of 36,000 fans; producers led her to Hollywood California where she found success. She had the attention of Record Labels and managers from the start and headlining clubs like The Roxy and The Whisky on the Sunset strip. The late ‘80’s launched a career, with players and songwriters such as Jeff Duncan (Armored Saint) her partner and husband, Mike Stone (Peter Chris of KISS, Queensryche and currently SPEED X) . Roxy was signed to Polygram’s, Rocket Records by Sir Elton John (Magnetism) produced by Alan Niven with whom she worked with for 6 years. Recording in the studio with Roxy on Magnetism were such greats such as Mark T. Jordan from Bonnie Raitt's band, John Pierce of Rod Stewart, and many other players from Michael Jackson to Quincy Jones. Roxy also formed bands with other talents such as Tony Coleman (drummer/B.B. King), as well as musicians like Cher to Madonna. She has donated time, money and albums to causes such as Habitat for Humanity, Children’s Hospital & Cancer Foundation, ‘Spokanimal’, a shelter for lost and abused animals, as well as National Wildlife Agencies, Cat-Care in Volcano Hawaii. Roxy was asked to Headline the Heart of the City Benefits at the Historic Everett Theater, all are highly successful fund raising projects for children suffering with Cancer. Roxy Lopez as well spent some time on the road with Seattle's Queensryche performing for the Operation Mind Crime World tour in 2004.
